Introduction
Led by Dr. David Vaughn, the Medical Programs of the Institute are designed to complement the state of the art clinical care for cancer patients at the Abramson Cancer Center.

The Programs
Patient Service Coordinator Program
Patient service coordinators provide a consistent voice for the patient throughout the continuum of care. They provide individual and group education/support during all phases of the cancer experience for the patient and their families, help coordinate care during the patient's evaluation and treatment and interface with community services.

"It's not enough to give patients the best clinical care backed by the latest research. It must be done in an integrated way that helps them feel safe. With the support of The Institute, we are able to bring the comfort, the caring, and the support to patients in an unsurpassed way.

David Vaughn, M.D., Medical Director,
Abramson Family Cancer Research Institute
