Clinical Anesthesia Year 3 (CA3)
The CA3 year is a time for residents to hone their skills as they prepare themselves to be practicing Consultants of Anesthesia. At the end of their CA-2 year, the residents participate in a lottery and draft which allows them to fully personalize their CA-3 year. Many residents receive dedicated research months for academic projects and scholarly activities. Residents are also able to create elective rotations, if approved by the Program Director. Furthermore, several residents in the past have completed international rotations.
