The Penn Medicine Center for Health Care Innovation increases Penn Medicine’s capacity for innovation – creating the conditions under which many more ideas can be more rapidly tested. Through training on new methodologies for problem identification and prototype development, or by connecting colleagues working on similar solutions for solving problems, The Center for Health Care Innovation can help the faculty and staff of Penn Medicine move their ideas to the next level.
Your Big Idea: Penn Medicine’s Innovation Tournament
Penn Medicine’s first system-wide Innovation Tournament resulted in faculty and staff submitting over 1700 ideas for improving the patient experience. Since the Tournament finale, the winning teams have been partnering with The Center for Health Care Innovation on the implementation of their ideas.
The Center for Health Care Innovation offers a variety of training resources and tools for Penn Medicine employees. Facilitated by innovation experts including Chief Innovation Officer Roy Rosin, these sessions can teach you and your team how to apply innovation methods to your work.
