Clinical Specialties
Glen Crawford, M.D. serves as the chief of Dermatology at Pennsylvania Hospital, and as clinical associate professor at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He sees patients at both locations. His primary clinical interests include the evaluation and treatment of allergic, environmental, and occupational skin disorders. In addition, Dr. Crawford directs the resident laser and surgery clinic. Dr. Crawford provides the full spectrum of medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology services in his practice.

Research Area of Interests
Dr. Crawford’s principle area of research interest is the interaction between the skin and environmental allergens. His recent work has focused on occupational hand dermatitis and on the growing use of natural, herbal, and botanical remedies and their potential adverse skin effects. Additionally, Dr. Crawford pursues clinical research in the area of Rosacea and in the use of laser and light-emitting devices for various skin disorders.
