Clinical Research Summary
My research interests involve the epidemiology of melanoma and dysplastic
nevi as well as analysis of the microscopic misdiagnosis of melanoma.
My current projects include developing clinically useful models for
predicting the occurrence of second primary melanomas; identification
of characteristics associated with microscopic misdiagnosis of melanoma;
and an assessment of the attitudes and beliefs of dermatologists and
dermatopathologists regarding the relationship between dysplastic nevi
and melanoma.
