Anesthesia Residency Program

The Residency Program in Anesthesiology and Critical Care at the University of Pennsylvania Health System provides education and opportunities for professional growth for physicians with a wide spectrum of career goals: private practice, subspecialty practice, multiple-board certification, clinical teaching and research.

The department makes its residency available to applicants with energy, ambition and a history of academic success. Although more than 60 percent of our former residents and fellows are in clinical practice, we also eagerly recruit those interested in research.

For more information about our residency program, please explore the links at left.
