Anesthesia 200Theoretical and practical instruction in perioperative patient care, anesthetic management and life support skills relevant to all future physicians is offered. The roles of the anesthesiologist in the medical care of the patient, from the preoperative evaluation, through the intraoperative course and into the postoperative period are stressed.
Each student will assist in the administration of anesthetics under staff supervision. Lectures, conferences and rounds will be conducted by members of the department. Each student will spend one week full-time in the Department of Anesthesia.
