BACKGROUND INFO
This Index Component of the Stress Data Center represents the
organized hard copy compilation of primary measurements data and initial analysis
in specific, quantitative experiments. Where electronic methods of primary measurement
recording and analysis were used, these data are incorporated.
Most of the experiments records concern interacting physiologic influences of
useful and adverse atmospheric states encountered in human aerospace, undersea
and terrestrial activity.
The preservation of unique and detailed data with associated reports has allowed
frequent reapplication of results in planning new research, and in the integrative
modeling required for prediction of physiologic tolerance. The results of extensive
analytic correlations and modeling are provided in other Components of the Stress
Data Center (Technical Reports, Decompression Procedures Developments, Predictive
Studies).
