Clinical Research Program

Dr. Hollander is the director of clinical research, and has the large task coordinating the numerous active clinical studies that are always ongoing in the clinical area. His main areas of research interest include risk stratification of patients with potential acute coronary syndromes, cocaine-associated chest pain, and new biomarker technologies.

Dr. Hollander has designed and directs an incredibly successful undergraduate course titled Clinical Research in Emergency Medicine. This Academic Associate Program places college students interested in medicine in the ED to assist with data collection in ongoing clinical research projects. It combines a research experience with the opportunity to observe in a busy urban emergency department.
