Biography
Dr. Braunstein was the Chief of the Diabetes Program at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania from 1975 - 2002. He has a large clinical diabetes practice and his interests include treatment of complications related to diabetes, treatment of diabetes in pregnancy and young adults, and intensive treatment programs including insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitoring. His current research is focused on new treatment strategies for complications of diabetes. He is a national and international speaker on diabetes and diabetes complications and their treatment.
He has been a Philadelphia "Top Doc" for 20 years.
