Biography

Vanessa Rein, M.D. is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, in the division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. She completed her undergraduate studies at Brown University where she received a B.S. in Psychology. She received her M.D. from Mount Sinai School of Medicine. She then completed a residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Endocrinology at the University of Wisconsin. Dr. Rein was an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin from 2005-2006, and joined the Penn Faculty in 2006. Her clinical interests include the management of diabetes and pre-diabetes, polycystic ovary disease, as well as thyroid and pituitary disorders.
