Biography
Dr. Burns recently joined the faculty of the division as an Assistant Professor of Medicine. She completed her B.A. in Biological Sciences at Rutgers College and received her medical doctorate from UMDNJ Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
She completed her residency training at Brown University in Providence, RI and trained as a fellow in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism here at University of Pennsylvania.
Her clinical interests include Diabetes, and General Endocrinology including thyroid disease and osteoporosis. Her clinical practices are located at Penn Rodebaugh Diabetes Center, One Maloney Building and Pennsylvania Hospital.
