The Institute for Diabetes, Obesity, and Metabolism will be headed by Mitchell A. Lazar, MD, PhD, Sylvan Eisman Professor of Medicine and Genetics, and Chief of the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism.

Welcome to the Division of Endocrinology Diabetes and Metabolism. As a division of the Department of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, we provide education, research and clinical care related to endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism. The Division is comprised of physicians, nurses and staff who are dedicated to research, education and patient care.
