Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism
The Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism in the Department of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine seeks candidates for an Assistant or Associate Professor position in either the non-tenure clinician-educator track or the non-tenure academic-clinician track. Track and rank will be commensurate with experience. Excellence in teaching and clinical care are required. While evidence of scholarship is required in the clinician-educator track, research is not required in the academic clinician track. Applicants must have an M.D. degree and BC/BE in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism is required.
The future Section Chief will lead Endocrinology at the Philadelphia Veteran Affairs Medical Center, which serves as an endocrine referral center for the surrounding area. There are exciting opportunities for programmatic innovation and clinical research. The new physician will be an integral member of the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at the University of Pennsylvania and will be have opportunities to teach in the endocrine fellowship program and the School of Medicine.
