PENN Endocrinology is committed to providing the highest standards of care to patients with endocrine disorders in a compassionate and professional setting. PENN Endocrine physicians care for patients with disorders of calcium including hyperparathyroidism, metabolic bone problems and osteoporosis, hypogonadism (low testosterone), and adrenal problems. Endocrine physicians are skilled at the performance of ultrasound to identify abnormal parathyroid glands. Within the Perelman Center, on-site radiology evaluation is available to expedite diagnostic evaluation.
Physicians present a multidisciplinary therapeutic plan to patients that may involve care from the outstanding surgical specialists at HUP, interventional radiology, and physical therapy. In addition, provocative endocrine testing may be performed through the PENN Pituitary Center.
