Mission

Our mission is to bridge the gap between research, clinical care and education. We promote research in the area of Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD) that will lead to a cure for this condition while we improve our understanding of the brain.

Location

The Center for Frontotemporal Dementia, Department of Neurology is located at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pa. For information on how to make an appointment with one of our physicians, click here.

Research

The purpose of our research is to develop a better understanding of FTD. Information collected will advance the knowledge of what causes this condition, lead to improved diagnostic testing and support the development of treatment trials for FTD.

Collaboration

We work closely with the University of Pennsylvania's Center for Neurodegenerative Disease Research (CNDR), Center for Functional Neuroimaging, ALS Clinic and Parkinson's Disease & Movement Disorders Center.
