Wynnewood House for Sale - $495,000
Our two-story, red-brick house is at 1518 James Rd, on the corner of two small streets in Wynnewood and across the street from a huge park (South Ardmore Park). As a result, there are always lots of kids playing and pedestrians but not a lot of cars on the street. The first floor has a kitchen updated in 2001, dining room with lots of windows, and big living room with built-in book cases. The second story has four bedrooms and two bathrooms (one with bath, one with shower only). We use the finished half of the basement as a fifth/guest bedroom and third bath (with shower). The other half of the basement, huge attic, and garage provide a tremendous amount of storage space but don't count toward the square footage of the house (1550). There is a 450-square-foot stamped concrete patio that we use all summer, and my husband has kept the quarter-acre grounds pretty meticulously. Since we bought the house in 2004 we have installed a new roof with 30-year warranty, new furnace, new air conditioner, and the patio. We have kept really good records about everything, so there won't be many unknowns for the new owners, but we are always on email in case any issues arise.
