Annual Housestaff Orientation

As the first step in becoming a housestaff at the University of Pennsylvania Health System, you need to attend our Annual Housestaff Orientation. This orientation is designed to enable you to have a smooth transition into residency life. During orientation you will have the opportunity to:

• Learn about the University of Pennsylvania Health System
• Meet other new residents and current residents who will share     their experiences
• Meet your program directors, coordinators, and GME staff
• Complete your employee package requirements
• Address patient care issues
• Learn about the hospital's services and resources
• Get acquainted with Philadelphia, University City, and the     EAGLES

We recommend that you contact the residency coordinator once you have been matched to one of our programs.
