Chemotherapy

The infusion suite at the Abramson Cancer Center at Penn Presbyterian offers:

  • A laboratory for blood drawing and on-site testing
  • Experienced chemotherapy certified nurses
  • On-site oncology pharmacy that prepares and administers medications in our chemotherapy suite

Clinical Trials

The latest cancer treatment advances often result from clinical trials, which evaluate the effectiveness of new treatment approaches. Our doctors are actively involved in developing and conducting clinical trials in an effort to provide the best possible treatments for our patients while preserving quality of life.

Our doctors are board-certified and have completed advanced training in their field. Our advanced practice nurses, who have received specialized education in caring for patients with cancer, work closely with your doctors. These nurses are an integral part of your team. They help coordinate your treatment, address symptoms or side effects you may experience, and discuss ways to cope with any symptoms you may be experiencing.
