Patient Sample MaterialsThe Stem Cell and Therapeutics Core Facility maintains a tissue bank of samples from patients with hematologic malignancies.
Access to samples requires appropriate IRB and biosafety approvals for the use of patient material. Access to samples will also require pre-approval by the Stem Cell and Therapeutics Advisory Committee. These samples are limited in both size of sample and number of samples and must be distributed accordingly. For all proposals, please remember to outline the total number of samples you are requesting. For further information about requesting access to this material, contact Amy Cleck at aconner@mail.med.upenn.edu. Discussion of proposed trials will occur at monthly meetings of the Stem Cell and Therapeutics Advisory Committee. Tissues from liquid tumors are stored as viable cells in 10% DMSO. We do not provide processed DNA or RNA. Lymph node samples are stored preserved in RNAlater® and cryopreserved. Cells are frozen using a controlled rate freezer and maintained in liquid nitrogen.
Contact Amy Cleck regarding questions about acquiring patient samples.
