Miltenyi AutoMacs

The Miltenyi AutoMacs is an automated immunomagnetic cell sorter for use with Miltenyi beads. The concept is the same as Miltenyis's manual columns but the machine is capable of sorting large numbers of cells quickly (10⁹ input cells in 10-15 minutes). The AutoMacs is maintained by the Stem Cell Core and is available to users for a small fee. Fees are based on usage time. Usual charge is $10.00 per use for up to one hour of time. The machine is located in BRB 2/3, Room 775. There is a sign up sheet on the door. All new users must receive training.
