R. Michael
Buckley, M.D.
Dr. Buckley was Chief of the Infectious Diseases Section at Pennsylvania
Hospital from 1988 until March of 1997 when he became Associate Dean
for Physician Network Development for the University of Pennsylvania
Health System. On September 1, 1999 he was named Chairman of the Department
of Medicine at Pennsylvania Hospital and Vice Chairman of Medicine for
the University of Pennsylvania Health System, and in 2001 was also named
the CMO at Pennsylvania Hospital. He continues to see patients with
a wide variety of infectious disease issues on a limited basis at his
Pennsylvania Hospital office.
