Karen Sims, M.D., Ph.D.
Karen Sims is an Instructor in the Division of Infectious Diseases, and is an attending physician for the inpatient solid organ transplant consultative service and in the MacGregor Infectious Diseases Clinic at HUP. She does translational research examining the role of the innate immune system in the development of rejection and infection in lung transplant recipients, and is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Translational Research at Penn.
