Helen C. Koenig, M.D., M.P.H.
Helen Koenig is a clinician at the Jonathan Lax Center, a community HIV clinic that is part of Philadelphia FIGHT, a comprehensive AIDS service organization in Center City. Clinically, she has a particular interest in the management of patients with multi-drug resistance. She also serves as the Program Director for students and house staff who train at the Lax Center, sees general ID patients in the ID clinic at HUP, rotates on the HUP ID consult service, and organizes a quarterly book discussion group at Penn on books with infectious diseases topics. Her research interests lie in HIV prevention and treatment in urban settings.
