Institute for Medicine & Engineering

Institute for Medicine and Engineering Chalk Talks

The IME chalk talk was established to enhance interactions of IME faculty, postdocs, graduate students and laboratory staff with each other. IME members meet on alternating Fridays for informal scientific presentations of work in progress. To minimize formality and maximize discussion, the presentations are in the format of a 35-40 minute long chalk talk, allowing ample time for interactions. The talks are from Noon - 1:00 PM in the 2nd floor conference room of Vagelos Research Labs (unless otherwise noted) and are accompanied by a pizza lunch.
