Our program has the benefit of being a part of the number two medical school in the nation according to US News and World Report - the Penn Perelman School of Medicine. In 2010, the school of medicine brought in over $570 million in NIH funding, and this translates into a diverse array of research opportunities for our residents. Penn is also a leader in the growing field of translational research, and will be adding the Smilow Center for Translational Research (SCTR) to the already impressive research infrastructure. Our faculty are highly productive academically, and eager to work with housestaff.
