Dr. LaRosa completed a three-year fellowship in the medical
subspecialty of allergy and clinical immunology and is now
junior faculty at the University of Pennsylvania School
of Medicine. His clinical interests include the evaluation
and management of patients with primary immunodeficiency
and allergic hypersensitivity disorders. His research interests
include using mouse models to better understand the factors
that shape the immune response to microbes. Dr. LaRosa has
been awarded The Will Rodgers Institute Research Fellowship
to support his development as a clinician-scientist. In
addition, he has recently received a Mentored Clinician-Scientist
Development Award from the National Institute of Allergy
and Infectious Diseases.
