Dr. Sager is the Associate Medical Director of the Lung Transplantation Program and has expertise in the evaluation of candidates for lung transplantation and the management of transplant recipients. His broader clinical interests encompass advanced lung disease and, in particular, the management of patients with pulmonary hypertension. A recipient of a Masters degree in Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Dr. Sager studies health-related quality of life and functional assessment in advanced lung disease and lung transplantation. He is the co-investigator of clinical trials investigating the role of immunosuppressive induction agents for the prevention and treatment of acute and chronic lung rejection.
