Dr. Hoffman has expertise in interstitial lung diseases, including idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, Sarcoidosis, and pulmonary manifestations of collagen vascular diseases. He also practices consultative pulmonology, offering second opinions for difficult to diagnose respiratory disorders. .

Dr. Hoffman’s research interests include clinical trials of investigational therapy for idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. He also participates in translational projects studying lung injury and repair.
