Dr. Manaker is currently the Vice Chair for Regulatory Affairs for the Department of Medicine. His clinical interests include critical care medicine, mycobacterial diseases, and occupational lung disease, with emphasis on physiological processes and pharmacologic interventions. Recent research interests include analysis of hospital pharmacy and other administrative databases to improve patient safety, increase cost effectivenesss, and reduce medical errors.
