Neuropsychological Evaluation Laboratory

The Neuropsychology Laboratory provides comprehensive neuropsychological testing that can assist in the diagnosis and management of patients with neurological disorders.

Clinical neuropsychology is a sub-specialty within the field of psychology that provides special expertise in the applied science of brain-behavior relationships. Clinical neuropsychologists use this knowledge in the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and/or rehabilitation of patients with neurological, medical, neurodevelopmental and psychiatric conditions.

The clinical neuropsychologist uses standardized tests and normative data to evaluate patients' neurocognitive, behavioral, and emotional strengths and weaknesses and their relationship to normal and abnormal central nervous system functioning. This information is helpful in identifying and diagnosing neurobehavioral disorders, and planning and implementing intervention strategies.
