Biological Basis of Behavior (BBB) Undergraduate Major
The Biological Basis of Behavior undergraduate major is an interdisciplinary major in which students explore the relationship between behavior and its neural foundations. The program was created in 1978 to allow students to take maximal advantage of Penn's multidisciplinary strengths in research and teaching in the neurosciences. BBB faculty are recruited from the Departments of Anthropology, Biology, and Psychology in the School of Arts and Sciences, as well as from the Schools of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine. The BBB major is one of the largest undergraduate majors at Penn.
