Program ComponentsClinical Neurosurgery Each rotation is for a 6-month period. The program is organized to ensure a graded and increasing level of responsibility as the resident progresses through the rotations. Neurology Research Fellowship Opportunities exist for participation in a wide array of programs in the entire University of Pennsylvania community. Residents will receive training and experience in grant application and research publication. Clinical responsibilities are minimized during this rotation so that the resident may focus his/her efforts on research. ElectiveThe remaining rotations within the 6 year program are structured to meet the needs and interests of the individual resident. This may include a rotation on interventional and/or diagnostic neuroradiology; neuropathology; or an additional clinical rotation with emphasis on an area of the resident's own interest such as epilepsy, skull base surgery, spine, pediatric neurosurgery, or craniofacial reconstruction. |
