  Go With the Flow: Penn Researchers Show How Nanocylinders Deliver Medicine Better Than Nanospheres

Nanospheres in flow are readily captured non-specifically by cells, as imaged in single particle fluorescence (left). In contrast, flexible nanocylinders “go with the flow” and evade such capture (right), allowing the drug-laden filaments to target specific sites of disease.
