About Soraya - Singer-songwriter, Breast Cancer
Survivor
Award-winning, Latina singer-songwriter Soraya has
had her share of personal tragedy: losing her grandmother,
maternal aunt and mother to breast cancer; and, at the
relatively young age of 31, facing her own diagnosis
with the disease. Though the past two years have been
filled with aggressive cancer treatment, Soraya's love
of music and her supporters have kept her strong. Her
mission is to educate women about breast cancer, and
inspire them to take control of their breast health.
Soraya has filmed a music video and recorded an exclusive,
bilingual CD featuring her survivor-inspired song "No
One Else." More information about Soraya is available
on-line at: www.soraya.com
