| (PHILADELPHIA) – Anxious University
of Pennsylvania School of Medicine medical students
will gather on Match Day with fellow classmates, spouses, and
children to learn where they have been accepted for their residency program, the next step in their medical education.
This is a culmination of a process that began in the fall through
the National Residency Matching
Program, which helps pair graduating
medical students with the hospital or medical center of their choice. At
the ceremony, the 158 graduating (May) medical students will be
called individually and handed an envelope with their results.
