Interior of PENN Medicine's new Center for Advanced Medicine - Topping off the new facility is a glass atrium, bringing natural light into all corners and opening the formerly blocked landscape from 34th Street to the Schuylkill River. Architect Rafael Viñoly of Rafael Viñoly Architects, PC, who is partnering with Perkins Eastman on the project, was chosen to design the unique structure.
