  Penn Surgeons Use Completely Robotic Surgery to Successfully Treat Prostate Cancer

Once the robotic arms are all in position, David I. Lee, MD, takes a seat across the operating room at the control console. The actual robot consists of a tower with a console that can be situated away from the patient across the operating room. the surgeon manipulates the robotic arms, which hold various surgical instruments, from this console.
