  Penn Surgeons Use Completely Robotic Surgery to Successfully Treat Prostate Cancer

The camera and instruments are inserted through small keyhole incisions in the patient's abdomen. Surgeon David I. Lee, MD, then directs the robot's instruments to dissect the prostate gland and surrounding tissue. Below is the final immobilization of the prostate prior to completion of the prostatectomy.
