Comparing tumor size after manipulating Bnip3L, which was silenced in the tumor on right.


On the top image, staining tumor sections for apoptosis shows cell death due to wild-type p53 and Bnip3L; whereas, on the bottom, when Bnip3L was silenced a great deal of proliferation is observed.
