The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Penn has a long tradition of excellence in teaching. Our fellowship training programs have an excellent reputation for providing a wide range of clinical experiences as well as exposure to research methodology and training.

What Makes Our Program Unique?

1. We are the only OB/GYN Department in the Philadelphia region that offers fellowshps in all four specialties:
   
   
   • Gynecologic Oncology
   • Maternal-Fetal Medicine
   • Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility
   • Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery
     
     
2. We are the only hospital in Delaware Valley region with American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) approved fellowship training programs in each specilaty.
   
   
3. We have one of the largest comprehensive multidisciplinary women's health programs in the region.
   
   
4. Consistently ranked amongst the top five in the nation in NIH funding which enables us to deliver cutting edge treatment.
   
   
5. We have one of the leading research programs in women's health in the country. The Center for Research in Reproduction and Women's Health (CRRWH) serves as the research arm of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is dedicated to the mission of improving the health of women through basic, translational, and clinical research.
