Penn Vision Clinical Scientist Program
The Penn Vision Clinical Scientist Program (VCSP) provides mentored education and career development to recently trained clinicians in the broad area of patient-oriented research and in the clinical science areas of molecular ophthalmology and neurobiology. Participants in this National Eye Institute-supported K12 program will receive 75% salary support and up to $30,000 per year for research expenses. Training programs feature a didactic program of instruction and research activities with a variety of experiences in the candidate's area of interest with an increasing amount of responsibility and independence.
