University of Pennsylvania Orthopaedic Journal Now Accepting Submissions for Volume 20 The University of Pennsylvania Orthopaedic Journal (UPOJ) is the oldest, resident-run peer-reviewed orthopaedic journal in the country. We are proud to announce that the Journal is entering its 20th volume with a circulation of approximately 2,500. We aim to publish high-quality original research, as well as review articles, technical tips, and elaborations on current topics in Orthopaedic Surgery. We now invite you to submit manuscripts for UPOJ vol. 20, to be published in May 2010. Original clinical articles, basic science investigations, tips and techniques, case reports, and review articles are welcomed. The top submission by a resident will be selected for our annual UPOJ Resident Recognition Award, accompanied by a monetary prize of $1,000. (Penn residents are eligible for a separate $500 award.) Please note, submission to and subsequent publication of an article in UPOJ does not bar you from submitting the manuscript to another journal. For more information or to submit your article, please goto our Manuscript Submission section, which also contains author instructions. Submission to and subsequent publication of an article in UPOJ does not bar you from submitting the manuscript to another journal. Manuscripts can be submitted electronically through our new online submission and review system. Submissions are due December 11, 2009. Our editorial staff will review all manuscripts and notify you of your status around March 2010. Please share our invitation with your fellow faculty and residents. We look forward to hearing from you and reading your submissions. Questions and concerns can be directed to editor@upoj.org. Kindest regards,
The UPOJ Staff
