The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, the nation's first teaching hospital and the flagship of the University of Pennsylvania Health System is seeking an experienced ACPE Supervisor to work with the Pastoral Care Department Director/Supervisor to lead CPE programming at all levels for Residents, Summer Interns and part-time Externs. HUP offers highly specialized tertiary and quaternary levels of care in more than 200 specialty programs and clinics, is a Level I Trauma Center, and is consistently ranked among the nation's best hospitals. CPE is integrated into a diverse Department of staff chaplains, students and volunteers focused on patient care, education, community partnership, and research, and the program works regularly with the Penn School of Medicine, the Penn Center for Spirituality and the Mind, and the Penn Center for Bioethics. The UPHS ACPE Center has been an ACPE Research Center of the Year, is a founding member of the Eastern Pennsylvania Institute of Clinical Supervision, and has certified numerous Supervisors.
