Support Clinical Practices to Improve Patient Care
This is an exciting time for us. We are in an era when technology is at the heart of a revolution in clinical practices. Over the next five years, we need to acquire the equipment and the expertise to take advantage of new discoveries in patient care.

Some of our primary clinical goals include:

  • Creating a new comprehensive center for voice and swallowing at PENN, with research and clinical innovation working in symbiosis to provide the best in patient care
  • Increasing our technological capacity for robotic and endoscopic surgery
  • Increasing our technological capacity for telemedicine (the ability to use video telecommunication to share knowledge, make diagnoses, and train remotely from the best surgeons all over the world)
  • Increasing our technological capacity for office-based diagnostics and office-based surgical procedures for patients with voice diagnoses

During this time of declining support from traditional sources such as the NIH we are increasingly dependent upon contributions from people like you. Your individual gift can make a tremendous difference to the future of patient care within Otorhinolaryngology.
