Support Research to Improve Patient Care
The department is home to three well founded research areas working in tandem with our clinical practices: advanced thyroid cancer trials; squamous cell research aimed at targeting chemotherapy and radiation for cancers of all kinds (not just head and neck cancers); and sinus and allergy research. These research programs have been highly successful to date and require new funding and new faculty to expand and ensure the translation of findings from the laboratory into the clinic.

Our primary goals for research include:

  • Founding a world-class research program for voice and swallowing conditions
  • Growing our existing programs in thyroid cancer research, squamous cell research and sinus and allergy research

During this time of declining support from traditional sources such as the NIH we are increasingly dependent upon contributions from people like you. Your individual gift can make a tremendous difference to the future of patient care within Otorhinolaryngology.
