How to Apply

Application Process

Applicants will need to submit the following documents to apply to the program:

  • Radiology Fellowship Application
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Personal Statement or Letter of Intent
  • 3 Letters of Recommendation sent directly to the Program (one should be from your current program director)
  • Medical School Transcripts
  • Medical School Dean's Letter
  • USMLE Reports
  • ECFMG certificate (if applicable)

Application, CV and Personal Statement may be emailed to the program. Please allow at least 10 business days for US Mail to reach our program.

Copies of transcripts, dean's letter, and USMLE/ECFMG are accepted.

Application Materials

Download the application form (MS Word document), and submit it with the aforementioned documents to the correct program director listed below.

Applications are accepted between September 1st and December 31st.

Deadline for Fellowship Programs (NOT participating in a match):

  • December 31, 2012

Deadlines for Fellowship Programs Participating in the NRMP Match:

  • Neuroradiology – February 28, 2013
  • Vascular/Interventional Radiology – February 1, 2013

Requirements

Prerequisite training for entry into a subspecialty fellowship program should include the satisfactory completion of a diagnostic radiology residency program accredited by the ACGME or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

All applicants MUST meet the Pennsylvania licensing requirements (PDF document).

  • Subspecialty Fellowship Programs require prior training in Diagnostic Radiology. Therefore fellows in these subspecialty programs are generally licensed as a PGY 6 or above. For specific ACGME program requirements, please visit http://www.acgme.org/acWebsite/RRC_420/420_prIndex.asp.
