Six-Month Internships in MRI, a competency-based program, is a full-time internship that combines clinical with didactic information and is intended for those technologists who are serious about pursuing a career in MRI.
Course curricula & clinical competency follows guidelines of the Associated Educators in Radiological Sciences, AERS & the Section for Magnetic Resonance Technologists, SMRT. The objective of the six-month internship, is to provide the technologist with a firm understanding of the principles of MRI (the didactic) as well as clinical experience (the clinical practicum). Upon completion of this program the technologist will be prepared to pass the MR boards and gain employment in MRI.
The didactic portion of this course includes five one-week fellowship programs along with the weekend registry review program, both described in the brochure below, for a total of 135 hours of classroom activity.

Requirements for Acceptance:
The minimum requirement for acceptance into the MRI internship program is that the applicant be registered by the ARRT in
either Radiography (R.T. (R)), Nuclear Medicine (R.T. (N)), or in Radiation Therapy (R.T. (RT)). Subsequent to the internship,
the technologist will be required to take the Advanced level examination in MRI offered by the ARRT. For consideration of
