Penns Department of Rehabilitation Medicine
is ranked
amongst the top 20 programs in US News & World Report.
Penn has the nations first medical school and
university
teaching hospital (HUP) as well as the nations
first hospital
(Pennsylvania Hospital).
Named to the annual "Honor Roll" of
hospitals by
U.S. News & World Report for the sixth straight
year.
Penn is ranked second in the U.S. for National
Institutes of
Health (NIH) research funding.
Penns high profile programs include Level I Trauma,

Penn has the oldest Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
(PM&R) department in the U.S.
