Description: 12-month fellowship position
available for physiatrist interested in cerebrovascular
disease and related research. Start date is flexible.
Fellow is based in Allentown, PA (Good Shepherd
Rehabilitation Hospital) and Philadelphia, PA
(Dept. of PM&R at Penn) in a shared time arrangement.
Fellow participates in clinical stroke services
and neurorehabilitation at Good Shepherd Rehabilitation
Hospital; and in stroke, neurology, & neuroradiology
services at the Hospital of the University of
Pennsylvania. Balanced exposure to inpatient and
outpatient clinical services. There is an expectation
of research participation in one of multiple research
studies available. Collaborative and independent
research by the Fellow is strongly encouraged.
